Jeanette and Matt Duben have been married for 28 years and have lived in Florida, Alaska, Washington, and Texas, but have called Peachtree City home for the past 16 years. They have 15 year old triplets who are sophomores at Starr’s Mill. Their boys, Jake and Ty, both compete on the Starr’s Mill cross-country and track and field teams. Lea’s passion is softball, and she competes on the Starr’s Mill softball team as well as playing on the EC Bullet’s competitive travel team.
Jeanette has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and works as an independent Human Resources consultant. She also serves on her community association board and the Panther Fast Pitch Softball board. She enjoys spending time traveling with the family, gardening, and staying active outdoors.
Jennifer Hynes, Secretary & Communications
Jennifer Hynes and Chad Lohman have been married for 20 years and have lived in Peachtree City for eleven years. Their son Devin, a senior, runs cross country and competes in high jump and distance events for Starr's Mill. Colin, who ran cross country and threw javelin while attending Starr's Mill, is a sophomore at Tennessee Technological University.
Jennifer is a lifelong runner who coached youth track and cross-country with Peachtree City Flash, helping Chad while he was the team's head cross-country coach. Now she enjoys trail running and is working to improve her cycling and swimming skills to compete in triathlons. She teaches college English at Georgia Military College (Fayetteville campus) and the University of Phoenix Online.
Jill Turnier has lived in Peachtree City since 2008. Married for 23 years to a Delta Airlines pilot, Dale Turner, she has lived in many places including Utah, Nevada, Florida, and now Georgia. Jill has been involved with SMHS cross-country and track for the past five years with two daughters competing. The couple has three daughters: Dori, in her second year at the University of Georgia; Sydney, a sophomore at Starr's Mill; and Abby, a fifth-grader at Peeples Elementary.
Jill earned a master's degree in speech language pathology and works occasionally as a pediatric speech language pathologist in early intervention. She enjoys volunteering in areas including FLBC, SMHS attendance office, SMHS choral and drama departments, Evergreen Church, and Peeples Elementary. Traveling overseas, working out, and experimenting with new recipes are a few of her favorite activities.
Mike Dobso has lived in Fayetteville with his family for the past 10 years. Previously they lived in Florida, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Mike and his wife of 23 years, Kim, stay busy raising their three children, including Megan, a freshman at Starr’s Mill who competes in both cross country and track. Mike has worked as an air traffic controller for 25 years, including the past 10 years at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
A longtime runner, Mike has completed numerous marathons and oodles of shorter races. He is starting his fifth year as a coach with PTC Flash youth cross country team.
